The Legacy and Formation of SPP MAT-ARH ENTERPRISE
The Arharhire family is a prominent lineage within the Abraka Oruarive Kingdom. Rooted in a rich heritage, the family legacy traces back to the late Sir Sunday Arharhire, whose eldest son, Sir Matthew Arharhire, left an indelible mark on his daughter, Sonia Ogheneochuko Arharhire. Sonia, the founder of SPP MAT-ARH ENTERPRISE, honors her lineage through the creation of the name Matarh, which reflects a deep familial connection and personal impact.​
The Creation of the Name Matarh​
The name Matarh holds profound significance, as it combines the first three letters of her father's name, Matthew, with the first three letters of her grandfather's surname, Arharhire. This intentional fusion symbolizes her respect for her family while emphasizing the life-changing influence of her father, Sir Matthew Arharhire, over her personal and professional achievements. Sonia holds a deep reverence for her grandfather's legacy, a force that continues to shape the values and principles guiding her today. Through the name Matarh, Sonia reflects her admiration for both her father and her grandfather, honoring their timeless contributions to her journey. At the age of 21, Sonia adopted the name Matarh, ensuring her identity reflected the gratitude and reverence she holds for both her father and the foundation he built for her life​

The initials SPP originated as a nickname given to Sonia by friends and acquaintances. Notably, all her children bear names beginning with the letter P, making SPP stand for "Sonia’s P Planet"—a heartfelt acknowledgment of her most cherished treasures: her children. Over time, SPP became an integral part of her identity, reflecting her unwavering love for her family.​

When Sonia registered her business in 2018, she explained the significance of the name Matarh as a combination of her father’s and grandfather’s names. To honor both men, especially her father, while also celebrating the love for her children, the business was officially registered as SPP MAT-ARH ENTERPRISE. The hyphen in the name underscores the unity between the generations of her family—her father, grandfather, and children—whom she credits as pivotal in her journey.
